Car Overview

The Lamborghini Temerario is the all-new HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle, high performance electric vehicle) supercar from the Italian supercar brand Lamborghini. As the official successor to the Huracán, the name Temerario continues the Lamborghini tradition of naming cars after Spanish fighting bulls. It is the second Lamborghini HPEV high-performance hybrid supercar following the Revuelto. The launch of the vehicle marks Lamborghini completing its hybrid lineup, becoming the first super luxury brand to achieve full-line hybridization. The Temerario, with a system combined power of 920 CV, a production V8 engine maximum speed of 10,000 rpm, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.7 seconds, has set a new performance benchmark in the supercar segment. As of June 2026, the vehicle has started delivery in global markets, with a starting price in North America of approximately $290,000.
Design Language
The Temerario's exterior design is another evolution of Lamborghini's design language, introducing new style standards while continuing the classic proportions of mid-engine supercars. The front end features a split headlight design—the upper part has a narrow, flat headlight assembly, while the lower hexagonal ring-shaped LED daytime running lights are embedded in the two sides of the air intake channels, becoming the most recognizable design element. The front bumper is equipped with a striking carbon fiber front splitter, full of aggression. The side lines cling to the ground, with a more inclined A-pillar blending into a black arched roof, while the iconic scissor doors remain. The rear end features a large carbon fiber rear spoiler, a striking bottom diffuser, and a central hexagonal exhaust pipe.
In terms of body dimensions, the length, width, and height are 4706mm×1996mm×1201mm, with a wheelbase of 2658mm. The overall downforce compared to the Huracán Evo has increased by 158%, while the body weight has been reduced by more than 25 kilograms. The new car offers over 400 customizable body color choices, with exclusive launch colors including Blu Marinus (Blue) and Verde Mercurius (Green).
Regarding the interior, the cabin continues the Lamborghini "Pilot Experience" concept. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch central control touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch front passenger entertainment screen. The center console borrows the design ideas of the Revuelto, and the start button adopts a design similar to a fighter jet missile launch button. Thanks to the new body structure, the internal space of the Temerario is significantly better than the Huracán—the headroom increases by 34mm, legroom increases by 46mm, the field of view expands by 4.8°, and it can accommodate a driver up to 2 meters tall with a helmet on. The luggage compartment under the front hood provides 112 liters of storage space.
Power and Performance
The core of the Temerario is Lamborghini's brand-new 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine, code-named L411. The engine uses a Hot-V layout, with the turbochargers placed inside the cylinder angle; equipped with racing technologies such as a flat crankshaft, titanium alloy connecting rods, and DLC-coated valve rocker arms. The internal combustion engine has a maximum power of 800 CV (approximately 789 hp), output in the 9,000 to 9,750rpm range, with a peak torque of 730N·m, continuously released in the 4,000 to 7,000rpm range. The maximum speed can reach 10,000rpm, making it the world's first and only production supercar engine to reach this rpm.
Regarding the hybrid system, the V8 engine combined with three electric motors (one located between the engine and transmission at the P1 position, two on the front axle) forms a plug-in hybrid system. The system combined maximum power is 920 CV (approximately 907 hp), combined torque 800N·m. It matches an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. In terms of performance data, 0-100km/h acceleration takes only 2.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 343km/h. Regarding the battery, it is equipped with a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack, with an electric range of approximately 3.5 kilometers.
Chassis and Handling
Regarding the chassis, the Temerario adopts a new aluminum alloy space frame chassis. This chassis uses new high-strength alloy high-pressure casting technology for the first time, combined with high-strength hydraulic formed extrusions and thin-walled hollow castings. Compared to the previous generation architecture, the number of components is reduced by more than 50%, and the welding amount is reduced by more than 80%, with torsional stiffness increased by 20%.
The suspension system is a front and rear double wishbone independent suspension, equipped with the LMR (Lamborghini Magneride) electromagnetic damping system. The front wheel specification is 255/35 ZR20, the rear wheel specification is 325/30 ZR21, matching Bridgestone Potenza Sport high-performance tires. The braking system is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes Plus (CCB Plus), the front wheels are 410×38mm carbon ceramic brake discs paired with 10-piston fixed monoblock calipers, and the rear wheels are 390×32mm brake discs paired with 4-piston calipers. The 100-0km/h braking distance is only 32 meters. The vehicle offers up to 13 driving modes, covering full scenarios from daily driving to track use. The minimum ground clearance is 120mm, and can be raised to 170mm after activating the chassis lifting function, meeting daily drivability requirements.
Additionally, the Temerario also offersAlleggerita lightweight kit. When opting for carbon fiber wheels, the weight can be reduced by more than 25 kilograms, while downforce increases by 67% and aerodynamic efficiency increases by 62%.
Cabin and Configuration
Regarding cabin configuration, the Temerario is equipped with a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI), supporting Telemetry 2.0 track telemetry system, Memories Recorder driving recorder and Dashcam and other innovative connectivity services. The knob on the steering wheel allows the driver to quickly switch between various driving modes such as Città (City), Strada (Road), Sport, Corsa (Track) and Corsa Plus (Track+). The seats use carbon fiber shell bucket seats paired with Alcantara fabric. Regarding audio, the vehicle is equipped with a high-performance audio system.
Safety and Intelligent Driving
Regarding safety, the Temerario is equipped with driver, passenger and side airbags throughout the vehicle. The carbon ceramic braking system provides excellent braking performance. Regarding driving assistance, the vehicle is standard with lane departure warning, body stability control and reversing camera and other systems. The vehicle is also equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
Market Performance and Reviews
Since its debut at the 2024 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the Temerario has attracted widespread attention in the global market. According to Lamborghini official data, the brand's global delivery volume reached 10,747 units in 2025, setting a new historic high. As the closing work of the brand's full-line hybrid strategy, it will officially begin China market delivery at the end of 2026.
Regarding professional reviews, the Temerario's 10,000 rpm V8 engine is recognized as an engineering masterpiece. Some reviews pointed out that this V8 twin-turbo engine "combines the famous linear output characteristics of Lamborghini's V10 naturally aspirated engines with the huge power and torque of modern turbo engines". However, some media have raised concerns about the Temerario's curb weight—the official dry weight is 1,690 kilograms, which is about 300 kilograms heavier than the lightest version of the Huracán. Nevertheless, early reviews indicate that the Temerario "can hide its weight well". As a key link in Lamborghini's electrification strategy "Towards the Heart of the Bull" (Direzione Cor Tauri), the Temerario, with its unique combination of 10,000 rpm V8 engine and three-motor hybrid system, has opened a new path in the supercar market that combines extreme performance with daily practicality.
